  1. I’m not sure if I could get tired of creme brulee. Maybe if I was having it with every meal, but probably not even then. Of course, I’d want the traditional recipe with all the eggs and cream and sugar, so if I were having it with every meal I probably wouldn’t live long enough to get tired of it. But what a way to go, lol!

  2. Hola, Charlie! I’ve never had crème brûlée before. The way people are talking about how good it is makes me not want to try it because ADDICTION! 😂😂😂😂 A friend of mine just made pavlova for her family. It looked good, too. I’m pretty basic about my desserts. Chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, glass of milk. 😂😂😂 Maybe one day I will make a pit stop or take the wrong exit ramp here in SA and end up in KC with you and we can get dessert together, Charlie. 😂😂😂
    Wonderful painting! 😍😍😍

    1. Hola, mi amiga! 😉💕 Thanks so much! You should definitely try this dessert… it’s actually very simple with just a few ingredients. But it looks so elegant and cool! hehe I’m always up for a dessert date! So fun! ❤️

  3. Hello Charlie,

That creme brulee looks scrumptious.🙂 And that speaks volumes about your artistic talent coz I’m not very fond of it. But your painting made me want some. I am a dark chocolate lover all the way and it’s very easy to make me blissfully happy. Just a slice of chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache… mmmm… But I agree Charlie, it all feels great only in moderation. Today though am getting lucky at work. There’s a list of about 10 chocolate-based cookies that are gonna be tried out. I’ll eat a whole extra cookie as I think of you😉🍪

    Love,

  4. I love this post, and makes me think of the lovely art group that I run in Devon, England. We have two ladies that make sure we have a cake every week. I’m starting to think the group prefer the cake and coffee to art, however they still create some super artwork that we all enjoy as much as the extra calories 🍰 x

  5. You and Philippe sound very disciplined around your diet. I quit eating most sugar and cut out a lot of carbs a month ago. You have a great attitude about the treat at the end of the day and sizing it appropriately to what’s come before. Love it!
