  1. What a delightful read and awesome painting – I LOVE the little Pandas you paint. Well I imagine the beauty around you as I sit and watch the snow that is falling and going to continue through tomorrow, Friday and part of Saturday. It won’t be much snow, 2cm this afternoon, 2cm this evening, maybe 4cm tomorrow and 2cm tomorrow night and if we are lucky maybe it won’t snow on Saturday. But the up side is that at this time of year it will melt fast. Meanwhile I couldn’t stand it anymore – I just needed some colour in my life so I bought myself flowers the other day 😉 lol

How wonderful to have a holiday planned. I absolutely love California. I used to do the Western States run – well actually I was support which meant that I ran the last 50 miles in with a runner 😉 I love that State. Exciting – how long will you be there?

    1. Thanks so much, Zoie! 😃💕 Yay for buying yourself flowers! I love that! We’re so excited about our trip. We’ll just be there for a week, but that’s longer than any trip we’ve had in about 5 years so it feels exceptional. hehe

  2. Love love love your panda, so excited and joy filled! I love news of your play date-Elliot and Tipsy-so awesome when they have friends like that! We are still pondering (longing) for pups but we’re doing that family/travel/real life balance precariously😆 We’ll get it! In the meantime we love hearing about your little guy, I think his adventures are a book😉🤗

    1. Hello Charlie,

This was such a fun post and speaking of pandas, I’m back in the jungle for my final trip for this client. So stay tuned… some news may come your way. And speaking of Spring, every year I like to re-read the Secret Garden. I love the description of how the moor bursts into vibrancy overnight. And it’s nice to know you’ve planned a summer holiday. While you wait for it to arrive, enjoy dreaming about it Charlie.

      Love,
      Mugdha

      1. Thanks so much, Mugdha! 😃💕 And ohhhhhh! News, eh? I’m very excited to hear more! The Secret Garden is such a great story. I love that one. And yes! I’ll be here dreaming of the upcoming trip in the meantime. Much love to you! ❤️

  3. Oh, now that you’ve compared yourself to the giddy activities of your pup, I have a vision of you running around with a stick in your mouth, lol. There’s something to be said for being so easily amused. I know what you mean about hating to book trips. I usually leave it to hubby because he has a lot more patience for looking around for good deals.

    1. I can’ honestly state that I haven’t actually run around with a stick in my mouth, but I have considered it when Elliott starts to lose interest. lol 😉And yeah… I have very little patience most of the time, but I really focus when it comes to getting a good deal on travel plans. lol

    1. I LOVE SPRING IT BECOMES WARM AND RAIN A BIT. I LIKE FALL IN THE BEGINNING OF FALL BEFORE IT GETS TO COLD!!!
      THANK YOU FOR READING!!!

  4. Hola, mi amigo, Charlie! I’m glad you’re okay. I was worried. 😊 I love Spring, too. Like you, I love watching everything come back to life. My grandmother gifted my dad with a baby pecan tree that was growing in a coffee can. My father had a green thumb and could grow anything. (I can, too. 😂😂) He planted the pecan tree in our front yard close to the street. It was a baby. Well, I was a baby, too. Now, it’s easily 25-30 feet tall. It’s given us years of free pecans. For me, it’s what I watch for signs of Spring. Every year, I look at my dad’s tree, searching the branches, hoping to see those telltale signs of Spring. I see other trees changing, but they don’t count. It’s not Spring until I see baby buds on my dad’s tree. Then, and only then, is Spring here. 😂😂😂 Funny what we get used to. Little rituals, little telltale signs that we rely on. Little mile markers that we just have to observe or check off in order to proceed. It throws our game off if we don’t. 😂😂😂
I love Spring, but, sadly, it doesn’t last long here. We’ve had a few yucky humid days already. A little too warm, a little too early that remind us of the Summer inferno that is lurking just around the corner, warming its burners in preparation. Until then, like you, I will enjoy the transition into Spring. I will celebrate my plants flowering and blooming so beautifully. Ahh, the fruits of my labor.
Enjoy your Spring, my friend. 💜 With everything that I’ve gone through, I need a vacation. Like for real, for real. I love trips to Califas (California), but my eyes keep looking to a beautiful beach somewhere. I want to go and think about nothing or no one. I just want to veg. I hope it happens. 💜🤗 Have a beautiful day, sweet Charlie.

      1. I’m just thinking out loud, Linda. I’m not done with this chapter of my life yet and would like a moment to just catch my breath. I had a rough week. A rough and sad one. I know that you mean well, but I don’t need a lecture about making my life happen. I’m just trying to survive where I am right now and the unexpected situation that arose. Pray for me.

    1. Hola, mi amiga! 😃💕 Yeah, I was just a bit later this week as my site was getting updated and fixed. I love that you have a pecan tree in your yard and a family gift that started in a can no less! Awesome! I used to go with my family to collect pecans when I was a kid.
We’re definitely excited for our trip, though it’s months away. hehe It will be great to finally have a full week to relax and take a break from things. Much love to you! ❤️
